Enzyme

Among various pre-treatment auxiliaries, enzymes have emerged as essential biocatalysts for enhancing performance and reducing environmental impact. Specifically, peroxide killers, burnishing enzymes, and desizing enzymes play pivotal roles in optimizing fabric preparation and subsequent dye uptake. Our enzymes include:

CatalogProduct NamepHNote
DYE-AUX-0101Peroxide Killer5.0-7.0
  • If a low-alkali process is used in pre-treatment, deoxygenase can be directly added after bleaching without the need for acid adjustment. It can be processed in the same bath as dyeing.
  • Deoxygenation can be completed within 10-20 minutes. No heating is required during the process.
  • Dosage: Dipping 0.05-0.2 g/L.
DYE-AUX-0102Catalase5.0-7.0
  • Suitable for the biopurification of hydrogen peroxide processes in various processing equipment.
  • It can be used in the same bath with dyeing.
  • Dosage: Dipping 0.05-0.1 g/L.
DYE-AUX-0103Neutral Deoxygenating Burnishing Enzyme4.0-7.5
  • Suitable for the polishing treatment of cotton, linen, viscose, and their blended fabrics.
  • Polishing and deoxidizing can be done in the same bath.
  • Dosage: Dipping 0.3-2.0% (o.w.f)
DYE-AUX-0104Imitation Tencel Burnishing Enzyme4.0-5.5
  • Suitable for the polishing treatment of cotton, linen, and cotton-blend fabrics.
  • The polishing effect is significantly improved with extended processing time, and the weight loss rate is low.
  • Dosage: Dipping 0.1-0.3% (o.w.f.)
DYE-AUX-0105Burnishing Enzyme A4.0-6.0
  • Suitable for the polishing treatment of cotton, linen, and cotton-blend fabrics.
  • The polishing effect is significantly improved with extended processing time, and the weight loss rate is low.
  • Dosage: Dipping 0.3-1.5% (o.w.f.)
DYE-AUX-0106Desizing Enzyme A5.0-7.0
  • Suitable for the desizing process of various starch sizes, featuring a high-concentration product with good compounding stability. It can be used with anionic and non-ionic auxiliaries.
  • Effective desizing under a wide range of temperatures, leaving the fabric with a soft hand feel.
  • Dosage: Dipping 0.05-0.15% (o.w.f); Padding 0.15-0.3 g/L.
DYE-AUX-0107Desizing Enzyme B5.5-7.5
  • Suitable for the desizing process of various starch-based sizes. It exhibits good stability when compounded and can be used with anionic and non-ionic auxiliaries.
  • It shows strong desizing effects under a wide range of temperatures and gives the fabric a soft hand feel.
  • Dosage: Dipping 1.0-2.0% (o.w.f); Padding 1.0-4.0g/L

Mechanism of Action

  • Peroxide killers, primarily catalase enzymes, effectively decompose residual hydrogen peroxide (H₂O₂) from the bleaching process. The enzymatic conversion of hydrogen peroxide to water and oxygen (2H2O2 → 2H2O + O2) mitigates the risk of oxidative damage to textiles and enhances subsequent dyeing efficiency.
  • Burnishing enzymes, typically cellulases, selectively degrade protruding fibers and fuzz from the textile surface, providing a smooth and polished fabric finish. They break down cellulosic fibers by hydrolyzing β-1,4-glucosidic bonds.
  • Desizing enzymes, particularly amylases, catalyze the hydrolysis of starch-based sizing agents applied during weaving, converting them into soluble dextrins and oligosaccharides.
