The method presented in this research allows the development of detailed chemical composition of hydrocarbon mixtures (petroleum and non-petroleum based) in the range of C6 to C33 (69 to 475 °C) via comprehensive two-dimensional gas chromatography (GC × GC) with a flame ionization detector (FID).
