Applications of PAN Fibers

Our PAN fiber is widely used in diverse concrete and asphalt engineering applications:

  • New asphalt pavement surface layers
  • Overlay treatments for aged asphalt roads
  • Road surface repair and patching
  • Cold-patch asphalt mixtures and joint sealing
  • Bridge deck paving on rigid structures
  • Concrete precast components and cement-based prefabricates
  • Pavements, bridge decks, and airport runways
  • Marine structures and cold-climate engineering
  • Anti-impact structures like crash barriers
  • Water storage, swimming pools, wastewater treatment tanks
  • Hydraulic structures such as panel dams
  • Basement waterproofing: walls, slabs, and ceilings

Usage Instructions

For crack control and waterproofing, a dosage of approximately 0.91 kg/m3 of PAN fiber is recommended for concrete or mortar mixes. The product requires no specialized mixing equipment or procedures. It can be added directly into the mixing drum along with other materials. A slightly extended mixing time ensures uniform dispersion of fibers throughout the mixture. Dosage can be adjusted based on project-specific structural and performance requirements.
