Polyfluoroalkylsiloxane is a polymer with a main chain composed of alternating silicon and oxygen atoms and a side chain containing fluorocarbon groups. The fluoroalkyl group in its molecular structure gives the material oil resistance, solvent resistance and chemical resistance. In addition, the strong electronegativity of fluorine atoms reduces the intermolecular force, making its surface tension significantly lower than that of ordinary siloxanes. Due to its unique properties, polyfluoroalkylsiloxane is widely used in defoamers, lubricants, waterproofing agents, antifouling agents, etc.
