New Wave NWR213 Laser Ablation System
The NWR213 system provides a solid state laser with spot size selections from 4 to 110 µm and spot size increments down to 1µm. With a 100mm × 100mm ablation chamber, HD video capabilities, rotating XY shutter for square and rectangular ablations, and layered sample viewing that provides for the coupling of SEM and optical images, the NWR213 system provides unparalleled sample navigation.
The New Wave NWR213 Laser Ablation System is coupled with the Perkin Elmer NexION 2000B inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometer (LA-ICP-MS) to provide fine particle ablation of solid sample surfaces and rapid, subsequent elemental and isotopic analysis.
