Application
7-Dodecyn-1-ol is the precursor for the sex pheromones, (E) and (Z)-7-Dodecenyl acetate, of Spodoptera frugiperda (Fall armyworm), Spodoptera praefica (Western yellow-striped armyworm), Thysanoplusia orichalcea (Golden wing moth), Agrotis segetum (Turnip moth) and Loxagrotis albicosta (Western bean cutworm).
